Sweet Smiles and Happy Families:)

Meet the Teacher day is always such an enjoyable, exciting day at the beginning of each new school year! After getting my roster on Monday afternoon and seeing 22 names on a list I was already so eager to meet each child! Finally, at Meet the Teacher on Wednesday I was able to put a sweet face with each name. It was great getting to meet each child and their families who were able to come! I loved hearing about the fun memories that were made this summer and that mostly every child was excited about starting back to school on Monday. (Well, that's what I was told anyway.:)) I can already tell that our class is going to be so much fun because there are 22 very unique personalities, 22 distinct individuals with various passions and strengths, 22 curious minds ready to be engaged in so many learning adventures that we will experience together! I can't wait for Monday to get this year started!! :):)

Balloons were waiting for them when they arrived. :) I love how fun the room looks with balloons! I wish we could have them in our room every day!! However, I know that the 22 kiddos that will be filling the classroom will be even more fun!!:):)

P.S. Mommy's and Daddy's, this sounds like a poem for their very first day of school ever, but I am sure as parents you feel this same way each year. I haven't experienced it yet, but I am sure it doesn't get any easier. I hope you will find comfort in knowing that I will be taking wonderful care of your precious child! I know how much he/she means to you!:)
